Whistleblowing

Eco World International’s commitment to upholding a high standard of ethical behaviour and integrity is demonstrated in our Whistleblowing Policy. EWI provides a platform for its employees and members of the public who have concerns about suspected misconduct / breach of law or regulation to come forward and express these concerns without fear of punishment or unfair treatment. Through this policy, EWI intends to preserve our culture of openness, accountability and integrity.

EWI assures that all reports will be treated in the strictest of confidence and will be promptly investigated. However, whistleblowers are required to reveal their identities in their reports / complaints to the Whistleblowing Committee so as to enable the Company to protect him / her. Incidents of retaliation against any individual reporting a violation or assisting in investigations will result in appropriate disciplinary action.

Anonymous disclosures will not be entertained. The Whistleblowing Committee will ensure that investigations are carried out using the appropriate channels, resources and expertise.

A Standard Operating Procedure governing the Whistleblowing process has been made available to all EWI employees through the Company’s intranet portal. All reports / complaints should be channelled directly to the Whistleblowing Committee at whistleblow@ecoworldinternational.com .
